Work At Home And Enjoy The Additional Responsibility By Acting

Do you currently work at home, but despise all of the responsibility and long hours involved? Are you someone who quit their job to work at home, but are now beginning to have some regrets? If this sounds like you, then yes, you are currently in a temporarily negative situation.

The best way to shorten the time spent in a negative situation is to focus on all the positives you can. If you can find something to appreciate, even if it is the fact that you no longer have a daily commute, or a boss breathing down your neck, you will begin to feel better. As you feel better, you will find it easier to notice another things which you appreciate about working at home.

What if you cannot find a single positive aspect of your present work at home job? If you fail to change the way you feel about your current set up from home, you will simply re-enter the traditional workforce, and attract another miserable job. Keep in mind that you made the decision to work at home for a reason. Think back to this reason, or those reasons.

Author Jo Berry once stated, "Sometimes it is easier to act your self into a new way of thinking, than it is to think your self into a new way of acting." Just think about it. How many times have you "thought" about getting rid of a bad habit? Has just thinking about getting rid of a negative habit done any good for you? Probably not.

However, if you start to "act" like you want to be or how you want to do, then your thoughts and feelings will follow. The question to you, is how does someone who enjoys working at home act? What do they do on a day to day basis that makes them enjoy it? Perhaps they take advantage of freedoms which they never would have working at a traditional nine to five such as going for a jog at 10:30 a.m., or wearing one of those ridiculous Snuggies all day.

Instead of trying to change the way you think about your work at home set up, begin to get a picture of yourself acting like you enjoy work at home situation.  What would you say or do differently? Try ACTING in a new way then notice how much better you feel.
