It will save you a lot of money that you would normally spend on other services to achieve the same effect.

I use article marketing to increase visitors to my website. I do this by including my website URL in the resource box at the bottom of the article.

How does placing you link increase you traffic? This is done in 2 ways. When you place a link in the resource box it creates a backlink that is indexed by the major search engines, that then increases your page rank and you get more visitors. The other way it increases your visitors is by utilizing direct referrals. This is where people click on the link at the bottom of your website and they are then redirected to your site.

There are many ways you can choose to get your articles out into the world wide web! I use one of the more prominent paid article submission services. The submission service blasts your articles out to article directories saving you time in doing it manually. You can also submit them using software, or do it by yourself. Using a paid submission service will enable you to focus your efforts in creating new articles.

If you don't have the money to pay for submission, you can submit your articles to directories one by one. Although this is time consuming, there are several page 1 ranking article directories that will definitely get your article indexed. There are also many websites that will have a list of article directories that you can submit your article to. Some of these websites also enable you to track the directories you have submitted your article to.

When you have finished creating your article, ensure you post it to a category that is relevant to the subject of the article. The search engines will index it quicker if the subject is relevant to the category.

Don't spam your article with keywords. To often you read an article that you think is going to help you, but it ends up making no sense at all because some noob has spammed keywords to try and get indexed. This doesn't work. Don't waste your time. Write a quality article that provides information, incites curiosity and provides you with a quality backlink!
