The first impression you get of Evolv Health relates to their website. It is very trendy, hip and appears to be very well designed. You will notice that everyone, including the founder, is wearing jeans and casual shirts which is also trendy.

The first impression you get of Evolv Health relates to their website. It is very trendy, hip and appears to be very well designed. You will notice that everyone, including the founder, is wearing jeans and casual shirts which is also trendy.

I know what you are thinking; the website really does not tell you much about the company and whether you should join the business, but it does help with the first impression.

Evolv Health entered the industry of MLM in the latter part of 2009 and was founded by Trey White. Mr. White is a young real estate owner from Texas who made a lot of money from creating innovative search software for the real estate market. He then turned some of his resources into a portion of Homebuilder.com which subsequently went public.

Trey founded a company called White Ventures and went looking for a home for his money.

In the beginning he focused mainly on the real estate marketplace but then in 2009 he ventured into the MLM market by starting EvolvHealth.

Now EvolvHealth is one of a long line of companies in the MLM industry that has been developed by high powered traditional business people.

Despite the money and notoriety these industry leaders give to their MLM companies it does not mean they will be successful. Everyone will tell you that network marketing is not the same as traditional business. We have not witnessed any "billionaire financed companies" get to the top of the industry as of yet.

If you look at the company's website you will see that all their products have one main component; "Archaea Active".

Their website indicates that Archaea Active was created by a firm called Health2o & was formed to maintain both a healthy inflammatory answer to our body normal response, along with providing the best possible oxygen usage in the blood and resulting cells. They also claim that it improves vigour, energy & endurance.

EvolvHealth has only two products, EvolvWater which is a bottled water containing the key ingredient which sells for $55 a case and Evolv Gel which is a trans-dermal application of the same key ingredient.

Now I have always been in awe of the bottled water industry where you can take a product that costs virtually nothing and sell it for a dollar a bottle.

Clear Brilliance!

Here is a business model that even puts that to shame, EvolvWater is $2.29 a bottle at distributor cost. Now of course this is not just water according to EvolvHealth it's more of a nutraceutical product.

The EvolvHealth compensation plan is a fairly standard Hybrid Binary, similar to the ones used but companies like MonaVie and eXfuze , where you get paid once set of MLM commissions based on the binary structure and one set of commissions based on a unilevel MLM structure.

In the final analysis EvolvHealth looks to be well funded, has unique products, and a time tested compensation plan but it's hard to say what the future will hold for this MLM company.

One final note, is that EvolvHealth in January of 2011 announced a proposed merger with Xowii, another startup MLM company that came into the market about the same time.

Now mergers in the MLM industry regardless of how the company spins them usually indicate that one of the companies is having problems. It does appear that the EvolvHealth is the stronger company in this merger but it will be interesting to see how they merge the organizations together and what the future holds for this company.
