So what is up these days with NuSkin? It seems that I am always running into excited Nu Skin reps on Facebook posting endless pictures of the latest Utah leadership event or YouTube videos of Dr Joe, touting the latest skin care technology. So what is up these days with NuSkin? It seems that I am always running into excited Nu Skin reps on Facebook posting endless pictures of the latest Utah leadership event or YouTube videos of Dr Joe, touting the latest skin care technology.
Since I'd already written an in depth NuSkin Review of the company in the past, I consider this an updated account of what I feel is happening with them.
Can a 20 year old network marketing business still be in a growth phase or is it just wishful thinking?
It appears that members are actively using Facebook for marketing. I have a few old friends in the business who appear to be encouraging others to follow their lead and make friends with full time marketers like me.
The first network marketing company I was ever involved with was NuSkin. It was with this company that I learned about the benefits of multi-level compounding and the massive incomes one can potentially obtain from this industry.
I had joined them 23 years ago after I watched my real estate empire crumble in the economic downturn of the 1980's.
During the first few months in the business, I struggled like most first time marketers and it was then that I was introduced to lead generation and the advantages of high volume leads.
By my third year I was able to successfully obtain an annual income of one million dollars.
I really think they are one of the top MLM companies with great products and leadership. I should know since I worked closely with them for 17 years.
Today I am not involved with them in any way since I sold my business during the latter part of the 1990's to seek other opportunities. I did not want you to think this article was a commercial from a NuSkin distributor.
I left them on great terms and my departure had little to do with the company but rather with my need to fulfill other personal and professional aspirations.
You see I believe that in the world of traditional MLM (as opposed to Top Tier MLM) where downline duplication is so critical to your success, you have to be able to rely on company growth dynamics to power the rapid growth of your group.
Early stage companies that hit the mark have that growth, but once a company hits a certain size let's face it you just can't keep growing straight up forever at the same rate.
As a network marketing company matures they often reach a point where their growth levels out and stabilizes. This tends to be in the range of 1 billion dollars in US sales volume.
Now that does not mean there is no opportunity there, it just means it harder and harder to hit the huge incomes that the early stage guys all got the benefit of.
It is very difficult for a new distributor in a billion dollar company to generate a lot of money. This fact made it very hard for me to feel comfortable marketing the opportunity to those who trusted my recommendations.
This is the primary point I want you to consider; is there still money to be made in this opportunity?
Can the opportunity provide the results you seek?
When joining a stable company in the MLM industry, is it possible for you to obtain the income you seek without the possibility of any explosive growth potential?
Well Yes and No.
I think it depends on your financial goals.
If you are a hard worker and also willing to work smart, then I believe you can still make 5 figures a month within a few years with a company like this.
However, you would have to be very lucky to obtain a 6 figure monthly income at this point.
There is no question that NuSkin is a great company and is still actively developing new products. They always pay on time, which is certainly an advantage of working with such a company.
The only way I think anyone can improve their success ratio within a business like NuSkin, is to give up on the friends and family system employed by many new distributors and focus on a high volume lead generating system to improve your success ratio.
